LINDA FARROW IS AN ICONIC BRITISH SUNGLASS BRAND FROM THE 70’S KNOWN FOR IT’S BOLD FASHION STATEMENTS.


Linda Farrow is an iconic British sunglass brand from the 70’s known for its bold fashion statements and striking styles. Over time, the brand lost its way and become muddled. We were brought in to refocus the story and create a new identity that reflected the original vision of the brand .

The Linda Farrow brand was brought back to life a number of years ago but the brand languished in generic retail spaces that didn’t tell the brand story in a clear way. Inspired by the edgy designs, we imagined a new retail identity that used architectural forms, rich materials and minimalistic details to create a space that immediately communicated the luxury and craftsmanship of the sunglasses.

Where once before the sunglasses were displayed en masse on unremarkable linear shelves, they now lived in a stylish environment that immediately communicated the avant garde vision of the brand.

Gold framed display boxes are an iconic element to the new design concept, creating a recognizable language that will be familiar in any future retail environment. The most popular frames were placed on the display wall, while the varying color ways and stock lived in discreet drawers that disappeared when not in use. Central to the space is a sculpture comprised of 3 stacked stone slabs, part feature table and part open surface to place sunglasses being tried on.
